Anaka Hughes - Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue
Anaka joined the team here at Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue in December 2019. The volunteer training coordinator is a full-time position with a focus on recruiting and retaining volunteer firefighters, as well as managing and tracking their training/progress. Anaka is still a volunteer firefighter/EMT with Clallam County Fire District #3 to our east.

PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Sheriff’s deputies responded to three separate incidents last week involving individuals who were experiencing behavioral health crises. In each case, the individual posed a danger to themselves or others and engaged in significant criminal activity, including extensive property damage and injuries to deputies, the Sheriff’s Office said.
